I am pregnant and a physician on my feet a lot for work. I ordered these to prevent swelling. It is impossible to match these to your skin tone without voiding this company’s return policy (they claim you cannot return if the package is at all opened, despite the fact that they are not selling durable medical equipment which would require a prescription). You have a small window to try to compare the color to your skin and the website photos make it seem like these are sheer when they are really quite thick and do not “blend” with skin of various tanned shades whatsoever. There is no way to tell this until you’re holding the stockings up against your hand out of the package and realizing it looks like thick netting.
Really cosmetically inelegant stockings. Colors not well represented in advertising and not suitable for skin that is non-white. Impossible return policy once you’ve figured this all out. Would definitely not be recommend this to any of my lymphedema patients or pregnant friends/colleagues. Think twice before purchasing - I had far better luck off Amazon and with other compression stocking companies who had better color selections and return policies.
I love these things! They keep my legs from swelling and are very comfortable.
I’m giving this three stars because well, the basic part of the stocking as far as the compression rate and the quality of the knitting is excellent. The top where the two strips of silicone are trash.
I say it’s trash because if you have thicker thighs, it just starts to roll down. It doesn’t have the strength to hold your thigh and not roll down even if you silicone to make it a little more sticky and pliable to your skin. The top will still start rolling down within a matter of minutes
My previous favorite compression stocking is rarely available so I switched to these. They are comfortable, and I greatly appreciate that the nude color suits my skin tone as so many companies only offer beige and black. I may need compression stockings, but I don't need to feel old! I knocked off 1 star because I would like to see a wider range of colors, sandal foot, open toe, and opaque options.
I have tried many brands of thigh high support and am so glad to have found this brand. I have paid twice what they cost for other brands that are not nearly as good. I wear them every day and am so pleased with them.
