Start With Exercise

Exercise is crucial for keeping your legs in splendid shape. Getting active will instantly improve circulation, reduce cellulite, and lower your risks of developing varicose veins. It is recommended to exercise for 30 minutes, at least five times a week. To maintain healthy and toned legs you can try jogging, walking, bike riding, swimming, climbing stairs, aerobics, yoga, Pilates, or weight training.

Cellulite is a woman’s worst enemy. Cellulite can result from poor diet, fad dieting, lack of physical activity, hormone changes, or dehydration. In addition to maintaining a healthy diet and regularly exercising, there are also many anti-cellulite products that can help with the condition. There are cellulite creams that are rich in caffeine, which can be helpful in shrinking fat cells by dehydrating them. You can also use birch oil, which has incredible anti-cellulite properties, to massage the legs. You can give your legs a daily five-minute anti-cellulite oil massage, always massaging in an upward motion with straight and circular movements. 

Exfoliate

Exfoliation treatments can help with skin rejuvenation, elasticity, and collagen, and can remove dead skin cells from the surface. The treatments will help scarred or dull skin to look fresh, smooth, and healthy. Exfoliating your legs doesn’t have to be expensive as you can prepare the treatment in minutes using household ingredients.

You can easily make an exfoliating scrub by combining granulated sugar or sea salt with a little water, honey, or body oil. The next step is to step into the shower and apply warm water to your legs to open the pores. You should start applying the scrub at your ankles and gradually move upward. The final step is to rinse off the dead cells and use cold water for a final cleansing.

Moisturize

To get rid of any dry, flaky skin it is necessary to moisturize your legs daily. Your legs tend to get dry after a thorough scrub, so applying a rich moisturizer is essential. A moisturizer rich in natural oils will help remedy dry skin, improve circulation, and relax the leg muscles.

When looking for the perfect moisturizer, be sure get a product that contains hyaluronic acid. The American Academy of Dermatology suggests using lotions that include lactic acid and urea, alpha-hydroxy acids that help skin maintain moisture. Dimethicone and glycerin can hydrate the skin.  Mineral oil acts as a sealant to retain moisture in the skin so it remains soft and smooth. Natural ingredients such as oatmeal, jojoba oil and shea butter can also soften aging skin.
